Furniture is not only a big decision, but usually quite an expense as well. There are many factors to consider when choosing the perfect bed for your little princess.

The number one factor is the size of the room and how long you would like to keep this furniture set. If you plan on sending her off to college with the same bed, perhaps a full or queen size bed makes more sense. Will she be sharing the room with a brother or a sister? In that case, maybe you would prefer a twin set or trundle bed. A trundle is perfect for sleepovers with friends or to use as a safe landing (pulled out) when the child is first moving from crib to big kid bed.

Do you like the look of the headboard and footboard? Consider the height of the child. A footboard may end up restricting movement in the night for a taller child. If you still like the look, consider a toy box or bench at the foot of the bed.
